IFFA Statehouse Day Luncheon Connects Members with Lawmakers at the Capitol

Legislative & Regulatory, Membership,

Members convened at the Indiana Statehouse on Wednesday, January 14, for IFFA's Statehouse Day Legislative Luncheon. The annual event drew strong participation from both lawmakers and industry representatives and provided an opportunity for meaningful discussion about the policy issues impacting Indiana’s fuel, convenience, and food retail sector.

The luncheon opened with a legislative briefing from Matt Norris, IFFA’s Public Policy Counsel, who outlined key bills and policy priorities under consideration this session. Topics included iLottery and ensuring retailers share in its benefits, responsible regulation of tobacco and e-liquid products, common-sense alcohol policies, and legislation related to interchange fees, SNAP purchasing restrictions, virtual currency kiosks, environmental regulation, and fuel taxation.

Throughout the event, IFFA members had the opportunity to engage directly with legislators, share industry perspectives, and discuss the real-world impacts of proposed legislation on businesses and communities across Indiana.

The luncheon was sponsored by Philip Morris International’s U.S. businesses (PMI U.S.), with participation from member companies including:

  • C&T Design & Equipment Company
  • Casey’s General Stores
