Barrels and Bonds IFFA Bourbon Trail

Kick off the day with a tour of the iconic Louisville Slugger Museum, followed by an immersive tour and bourbon blending class at Big Bat Bourbon, a souvenir bottle of blended bourbon included. The experience continues with lunch, sponsored by SAS, then a stop at Old Forester for a Distillery Tour and Tasting, and then on to the Rabbit Hole Distillery, showcasing innovative bourbon-making in a stunning setting, followed by a reception on the property, and co-sponsored by Reynolds.

Return to the Omni to enjoy dinner on your own at one of Louisville’s many renowned restaurants, then cap off the evening with a late-night meet-up to unwind, reconnect, and reflect on the day.

We’ll be staying at the Omni Louisville Downtown, placing us right in the center of the action and close to all scheduled events. Trail Motor Coach Transportation is sponsored by Federated Insurance.

9:15 AM - 9:30 AM	Meet at Omni Liberty Street Entrance
9:30 AM - 9:45 AM	Transportation to Louisville Slugger Museum Depart from the back entrance of the Omni on a charter bus to the museum. Transportation generously sponsored by Federated Insurance.
10:00 AM - 11:00 AM	Louisville Slugger Museum Tour (1 hr.) Experience the award-winning factory tour and witness the world-class museum gallery at the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory.
11:00 AM - 11:45 AM	Big Bat Bourbon Class (45 min.) Join us for Louisville’s only custom bourbon experience, a 45-minute class where you’ll learn how to blend your own bourbon recipe. Each attendee will leave with a bottle of their custom-blended on-site, generously sponsored by Altria.
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM	Lunch (1 hr.) Enjoy a catered lunch before the second half of the tour begins. Lunch generously sponsored by SAS.
1:15 PM - 2:45 PM	Old Forester Distillery Tour and Tasting (75 min.) On this tour, you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at the full process, from fermentation and distillation to barrel making, maturation, and bottling. The tour will wrap up with a tasting of four expressions.
3:30 PM - 4:30 PM	Rabbit Hole Distillery Tour (1 hr.) Learn about the unique history behind the Rabbit Hole Distillery as you tour their state-of-the-art facility. This unique experience begins with the transformation of grain into whiskey and culminates at the Overlook Bar for an IFFA Reception.
4:30 PM - 5:30 PM	Rabbit Hole Distillery Reception (1 hr.) Enjoy a hosted bar with appetizers and light bites at the Rabbit Hole Overlook Bar. Reception bar generously sponsored by Reynolds American with the appetizers sponsored by Gasoline Equipment.
5:30 PM - 5:50 PM	Transportation Back to the Omni Louisville
6:00 PM - 9:00 PM	Dinner on Your Own There are several great options within walking distance of the hotel. Reference a list of restaurants at the tab above.
9:00 PM - 10:00 PM	Evening Get-Together at the Omni Library Bar Join us for an informal late-night get-together at the Omni Library Bar, located just off the hotel lobby to the left.
