Event Details

Do you operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) or a fleet of CMVs regulated by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA)? If so, are you familiar with their DataQ System?

Presented by Raymond Rees, President & CEO.

This session is designed to help Indiana fuel operators, technicians, and owners better understand the fine points of on-site Automatic Tank Gauge (ATG) systems — not to turn them into service techs, but to help them recognize when something’s wrong and know what to do next.

Topics will include:

  • ATG settings that impact compliance and daily operations
  • How to identify signs of battery failure or system malfunction
  • Which alarms or test results indicate a need for immediate service
  • What to document, and when to call in a certified technician
  • A walk-through of Indiana’s UST registration process, including what IDEM expects and common mistakes that can trigger enforcement

You’ll walk away with clarity on what to watch for, how to stay ahead of compliance issues, and how to coordinate with your service provider when problems arise confidently.
